One video, one row
A reels planner or reel planner is a list of short videos before you film them. Each row needs a hook (the first line or first frame), three beats, a caption, a cover frame note, and a post date. The post date also belongs on the content calendar so a reel is not a secret second schedule.
Write the hook as something a stranger understands with no context. 'Part 4' is not a hook. A beat is a shot or a sentence, not a paragraph. If the script is longer than a short caption, the video is a different format.
Status
Idea, scripted, filmed, posted. Do not add 'viral' as a status. After you post, store the link on the row. Likes can be a number if you will actually compare videos. Skip the number if you will not.
Questions
- What is the difference between a reels planner and a content calendar?
- The planner holds the script. The calendar holds the publish date across every channel. Link them. Do not maintain two different dates.
