A workspace, a page, and a database
Notion Labs makes Notion. You sign in with an email address. That address is your account. Notion Mail, the inbox product, is a separate app. People who search for Notion email usually mean one of those two.
A workspace is the boundary for sharing. Inside it, a page holds writing. A database is a collection of pages that share properties: a due date, a status, a course. Calendar, board, and table are views of the same rows. The templates below are those databases written out so you can build them without guessing the fields.
Notion work means two searches. One is a job at the company, listed on Notion careers. The other is using Notion for tasks, notes, and documents at a job you already have. The index covers the second.

- What is Notion?
- Notion is a workspace from Notion Labs where pages, databases, and tasks live together. A page is a document. A database is a set of pages with properties such as dates and status. You filter those properties into tables, boards, and calendars.
- What is a Notion workspace?
- A workspace is the container for your pages. People and permissions are set on the workspace. A personal workspace and a team workspace are separate containers, even if you use the same account email.
- Is Notion email a product?
- Two different things share the word. The email on your account is how you sign in. Notion Mail is a separate email product Notion sells. This site does not operate either one.
- How much does Notion cost?
