One session, one page
A notes template or note-taking template for class works when you can open Thursday's lecture without scrolling past September. Create a database. Each row is a session: course, date, topic, and a page body. A notion notes template is this database plus a view filtered to one course.
The body can be plain bullets or a Cornell layout. Do not mix both on the same page. Link the session to an assignment only when the lecture produced work that is due.
What to write during class
The claim the instructor repeated, the example that made it concrete, and the question you still have. Slide titles copied in order are a table of contents, not notes. Leave a line at the top for a one-sentence summary you fill in after class. That sentence is what you will search for later.
